We’re Accepting New Patients!
Dentist Appointments Serving Prairie Village, Overland Park, Leawood, and the Surrounding Areas
Your initial visit will often consist of a comprehensive examination with Dr. Gordon that allows you the opportunity to discuss your dental concerns and oral health goals. Or your first visit may be a scheduled dental hygiene visit with one of our registered dental hygienists. We will review your medical and dental histories and gather the necessary diagnostic information to help formulate a treatment plan. Dr. Gordon will then spend time with you, one-on-one, explaining his diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done on the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require further evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
We Are A Handicap Accessible Facility
In an effort to make every patient as comfortable as possible, Mark J. Gordon, DDS‘s office building, offers an elevator and handicap-accessible bathroom. We also have a wheelchair available in our office.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
- A completed Health History/ Patient Information Form
-
Any past dental X-rays
-
A list of your current medications including any vitamins and supplements.
- If you have dental benefits, please bring your card and any associated documents
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the time of first visit.
Please alert the office if you have a known medical condition that requires pre-medication with antibiotics before dental treatment.
X-Rays
If you have had previous dental X-rays taken, you may request that they be forwarded to our office. We utilize cutting edge Digital Radiography, so the X-rays can be emailed directly to our office and stored in your chart. If additional X-rays are necessary, they can be taken at our facility. Our digital X-rays reduce exposure by 60-80% compared to traditional film X-rays.
